Hoy os dejo una leyenda sobre un salmón!!

The Salmon of Knowledge was a very famous fish.  The first person to taste the fish would have magic powers and be able to see into the future.  People tried to catch it for many years, but no-one caught it.

Finegas was a poet who spent many years trying to catch the Salmon of Knowledge.  A young boy called Fionn came to study with him.  Fionn wanted to join the Fianna and Finegas was helping him to prepare for the tests.

One day Finegas went fishing as usual.  He caught the Salmon of Knowledge.  He was very excited.  Fionn lit a fire and helped Finegas to cook the fish.  Finegas told Fionn not to taste the fish.  Fionn saw a blister on the fish.  It pressed it and burnt his thumb.  Without thinking he put his thumb in his mouth.

Fionn got all the magic powers and was able to see into the future.  He became the leader of the Fianna.  He became very famous and won many battles.
